About Key To My Art, Inc.
Key to My Art is place that encourages creativity. We will provide you with materials & instruction which gives you the KEY to your Art.
This studio was created to provide the community with a place to come and use new materials, learn new techniques or practice oldones, in an environment that feels GOOD.
While we provide guidance and instruction, and children who wish to scribble are encouraged to scribble! We do not encourage "coloring in the lines", or trying to make things look "perfect"!
Everyone can create art. Most amazingly those who think they cannot, often produce the most amazing things. …

Illustrator, graduated from Pratt Institute specializing in Comics, Cartooning, and Childrens' Books. Strong Design background. Currently Penciller on creator-owned book " Androids of NYC" Also Penciller on "Abandon All Hope" from FreeFall Comics, and Art Director on Spellcaster. Instructor
Christina Kampson is a Long Island based illustrator/artist. Her work has a strong whimsical style that appeals to both children and adults. She creates entire worlds in her works with her unique use of bright colors and stylized drawing. She received her BFA from Pratt Institute in Communication Design (Illustration, Graphic Design, & Advertising) and is currently pursuing her MS in Art Education. This is an ongoing class that meets most Tuesdays throughout the year. We do fun, simple projects with guidance to help adult individuals at all ability levels. We work in all mediums from drawing and painting to collage, and crafts. There is a main focus on the process of art making - and the enjoyment/relaxation we get when being creative. The students in this class attend with a caregiver or support staff person.
