Hi, I'm Ms. Jen. I'm an artist, designer, and educator in Oakland. And I believe that art is a lot more than just pretty pictures. Art has the power to connect, heal, and inspire. I created Corner House Studio to bring that joy to as many people as possible In 2022 I put my decades long design career on the back burner to focus on making art with children. I've taken this passion to the next level by creating a space where young artists can explore their creativity, learn some new skills, and have a blast while doing it. As far as credentials, I've got a fancy B.F.A. degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Those years of formal art training gave me a foundation that still shapes my creative process. It's like a secret toolkit that lets me fearlessly explore all different kinds of mediums and techniques. So, come on over!
