Hi, I'm Ms. Jen. I'm an artist, designer, and educator in Oakland. And I believe that art is a lot more than just pretty pictures. Art has the power to connect, heal, and inspire. I created Corner House Studio to bring that joy to as many people as possible In 2022 I put my decades long design career on the back burner to focus on making art with children. I've taken this passion to the next level by creating a space where young artists can explore their creativity, learn some new skills, and have a blast while doing it. As far as credentials, I've got a fancy B.F.A. degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Those years of formal art training gave me a foundation that still shapes my creative process. It's like a secret toolkit that lets me fearlessly explore all different kinds of mediums and techniques. So, come on over! Let's create something great together and build the community we want to be a part of.
