COOK! Programs
Learning to cook is great for your body, heart, and mind. It builds self-reliance and confidence, it’s a creative process with immediate rewards, it’s a life skill that connects you with the people you love, it exercises your math, logic, science, fine motor skills, and artistic abilities. Cooking creates community, and it establishes good eating habits and a life-long appreciation for food.
All of our courses are hands-on. We teach safety, technique, appreciation for ingredients, and collaboration in the kitchen (among other things). Picky eaters find new foods to love, experienced cooks gain new skills, and kids new to cooking gain confidence and familiarity with cooking. Ultimately, we aim to send our kids home to cook for their families and friends, because sharing food brings deep rewards and great satisfaction.
