Hannah Perry
Instructor
Hannah is the owner and creator of The Giggling Pig Art & Party Studios. In 2011 Hannah opened her first studio after seeing a lack of art being offered to children and adults. It is Hannah's passion and goal to provide a warm, colorful environment that caters to families everywhere. In 2015 Hannah released her first Giggling Pig children's book " Picnics & Puddles" and in 2019 released "Spike's Magical Glasses". These sweet short stories encourage kindness and compassion, which is the base of all teaching here. Along with a new line of Giggling Pig merchandise, Hannah is also working on a new Giggling Pig Youtube Channel that will give children everywhere an opportunity to create in the comfort of their own homes.
Joanna Reslink
Instructor
Joanna has always loved the arts, and has come full circle as the owner of The Giggling Pig of Shelton, which she purchased early in 2022. A former Fine Arts major, Joanna switched to Nursing in her late 20's and began her career as a Pediatric RN at Yale New Haven Hospital. She worked there for over 10 years on the Pediatric Medical/Surgical unit, before heading back to school and getting her Masters in Nursing and becoming an APRN with a focus in Family Medicine. She worked as an FNP in Primary Care for several years, and as an adjunct Nursing Professor at Fairfield University, for their Nursing Undergraduate program. In 2020 Covid hit, and everyone's world got flipped upside down... During the pandemic, she was lucky enough to be able to spend the year at home with her children and during that time, she realized she was really missing the creative outlet the arts had provided her in the past. She decided to take a leap of faith and become the franchise owner for The Giggling Pig of Shelton, and is now enjoying spending her days helping kids develop their love for arts.
