Purpose & Program During the exciting academic year of 2024-2025, Sand Hill School and the Growfit organization are teaming up to host a new diverse after-school program! Running five days a week, from Monday to Friday, this program will consist of a different focus each day of the week. Here are the themes of each of the days. Mondays- Outdoor play and Engineering Projects Tuesdays - Sports Wednesdays - Blend of Sports, Card Games, Board Games and projects Thursdays - Outdoor play and Strategy games Fridays - Outdoor play and Art Attendance Sign up for the full month of Aftercare activities with this product. Signing up is as easy as committing to one calendar month at a time (and don't worry, some months will be shorter and cost less). Simply register for your child's spot, and they'll be on their way to fun-filled afternoons. If you would like to join for only one day per week, please register for the specific product and not this full week product. We'll need at least 5 energetic students to launch a session, or we'll have to call it off. Aftercare on early release days will start right as school gets out. Currently, aftercare can accommodate a maximum of 20 students. Remember, it's all about whole-month excitement, and full payment is your ticket to the next month of action. COST Parents will be required to pay $10 upfront to register and will be charged the remaining balance based on your Sand Hill financial assistance by GrowFit. If you have financial aid through Sand Hill, Sand Hill will provide the same % of financial aid for after-school. Late arrivals Parents who arrive after 5:00 pm without a prior phone call as to a verifiable traffic issue will be charged an extra $25.00 for every 15 minutes thereafter. Late arrival payment will have to be made with or prior to resigning up for the next session. Parents will only be allowed 2 no-call late arrivals per session. With the third late arrival, the student will no longer be allowed to attend the after-school program for the remainder of the current session and the next one and must pay all late fees before being allowed back into the program. Traffic exemption Parents are obligated to call the Sand Hill supervisor on duty prior to 4:45 if it is to exempt for a late fee. Traffic issues will be verified from the school and if valid, no late charge will be imposed. Traffic-caused lateness will only be allowed 2 times per session, regardless of any additional traffic issues. In such cases (after 2 exemptions for verified traffic problems) parents will be subject to late fees as stated above.
