From the safari to the jungle; art and animals collide in this week of adventures. Learning about animals from the ocean floor to the sky, from the deserts to the mountains, campers will explore, recreate and invent creatures and habitats of the wild world.

Start at the beginning in this week of camp devoted to learning the art of the pottery wheel. Learn to create a basic cylinder form and turn it into a functional cup, bowl or plate. Finish your pieces with interesting surface designs and fun glazes or make them into one of a kind original pieces that you can now use every day! **4 day camp. The only requirement for this class is the desire to draw! Whether you’re starting from scratch or have been practicing for a while, you will develop your skills and build confidence in your abilities through a holistic approach. We will focus on fundamental techniques and experiment with a diverse range of materials such as: pencils, charcoal, ink, and pastels. We will also learn how adding in mixed media and painting techniques will allow you to create captivating and engaging drawings, while providing you with solid foundational skills to expand upon. You will soon be equipped to apply your skills to customized projects in your own unique style.

Learn how to use the pottery wheel or brush up on skills from a previous class or camp in this multi-level wheel throwing class for kids! Students will make cups, bowls and plates and learn basic glazing techniques to decorate their functional creations.

Explore the world of sculpture! Campers will begin to gain an understanding of basic building techniques while learning how to be expressive using clay and glaze to make truly unique pieces of functional art.

What would happen if everything in the real world suddenly became a cartoon? Use your imagination to draw, paint, sculpt, and design a whole cartoon community full of interesting characters, environments, and scenarios. Create storyboards for comic books and immerse yourself in the fun world of cartoons!

Take a seat and let's start an adventure through the world of clay! Learn about Chinese terracotta warriors, build and decorate Roman style pots and create tiles that belong in a Moroccan city. Join us as we squeeze a world of information into one week, each day will bring a new adventure.

From Lascaux cave paintings to the Great Pyramids of Egypt, put on your imagination caps and travel around the globe, exploring history through art. Learn from the art of ancient cultures, take a look at techniques new and old throughout history and create spectacular art that is all your own.

Create your own characters and move them inch by inch, photographing them every step of the way, then turn those still photos into a fluid motion film. Campers will explore two-dimensional and three-dimensional mediums as they learn the entire stop motion process from start to finish.

Only one art camp is offered this week. ***Parents enrolling in this camp should be sure to check the start of school date. Camp will not be pro-rated for missed days.

Create a variety show that is full of one act skits true to your artistic spirit in this intro to acting camp. Perfect for beginners or seasoned actors, campers will work together to learn what it takes to put on a production. Finish off the week with a red carpet experience and performance. **4 day camp. Put on your science thinking hats! In this week of art activities, campers will combine STEAM knowledge with arts and make exciting experimental pieces with some unexpected materials. From volcanic eruptions to salt crystallization, become a mad scientist/artist and use your imagination to create mind-blowing artworks!

Armed with the power of magic, the possibilities are endless! Take a ride on a dragon and imagine you have magical powers. Build your own magic wand, compile a book of spells and mix potions, all within the walls of our magical school of art.

Imagine clay all day in this camp just for the little clay artists! Campers will explore the tactile medium of clay to sculpt their very own masterpieces. Campers will learn basic clay hand building skills to create art straight out of their imaginations. *It is recommended that younger campers have previously attended full day preschool or camps

Dreams of making bigger bowls and vases? This is your chance! This camp builds on previous throwing and hand building skills by starting on the wheel and using coiled clay to make your pots taller and more magnificent than with traditional wheel throwing techniques. *This is an intermediate level ceramics camp. Prior experience on the pottery wheel is required.
