Activites, Camps and After School Classes in Fairfax, VA

Whether it's a teacher workday or student holiday, when school's out, your child (ages 5-14) can come to NoVA PlayLabs to have a different kind of fun. They will spend their time with us participating in a mix of active and quiet play, independent and collaborative activities, and intellectual and creative projects. Students can bring their homework or other assignments to complete during free choice time. Please pack a lunch, a water bottle, and two snacks.

Please be aware of the date you're signing up for. We will show you simple ways to engage your child's five senses through materials commonly found around the house. Expect to spend at least an hour and a half for each Playgroup: -30 minute structured class where fine motor skills are practiced -Playtime to encourage social interaction -Snacks/Lunch eaten together as a class (please bring your own food)

A great place for kids AND adults to hang out! There are several rooms for kids to play in: Gym with a basketball hoop, ride on cars, and various balls to play with; Reading room with lots of books for all ages, quiet play toys, stepping stones, and Duplos; and a Game room with board games, building toys, and a wall with all kinds of magnets. Please keep the toys in the rooms where you find them and please clean up before you leave. Feel free to bring food/drinks to consume in the "party room," but we ask that you clean up after yourselves. All children over the age of 1 need to pay and be registered. Fee is $10 for the first child and $8 for each additional sibling.

Please be aware of the date you're registering for. A whole class devoted to playdough? Yes! Children learn so much from playdough, starting with the making of playdough, then adding different scents, and finally, the playing of playdough which strengthens their fine motor skills. Expect to spend at least an hour and a half for each Playgroup: -30 minute (music is 45 minutes) structured class where fine motor skills are practiced -Playtime to encourage social interaction -Snacks/Lunch eaten together as a class (please bring your own food)
