Potty Training 101

Join us on for our "Potty Training 101!" Stephanie Kovacs, pediatric occupational therapist at Growing Together Pediatric Therapy, will be present to lead a parent's only talk about all things potty-training. Childcare available for an additional charge in the Present Place play area. At the request of mothers in the community, Stephanie hopes to support local parents in navigating the incredibly challenging process that is potty-training. There will be a brief presentation for approximately 20-30 minutes and the remainder of the session will be open to ask questions. The talk will cover the basics of identifying when your child is ready for toilet-training (or when to back off!), the different approaches and which one is best for your child, and problem-solving ideas for when things are NOT working. Parents will be provided with handouts with strategies to carry over tips to home!
