  Dear Gymboree Team, I wanted to provide feedback regarding today’s class at Montville. Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience due to unfair treatment from a staff member (whose name I do not know, I searched and think her name is Jaylene). Unfair Treatment – I noticed that she greeted other families upon arrival but did not acknowledge us, making us feel unwelcome. This happened several times, but we did not make noise earlier. Confusing Information – We were trying to enroll in the next class as well since we had several classes to make up. But she claimed that the next class was for 3-year-olds while our baby is only 14 month. I know that there's information on your website stating otherwise that the class is for 16month, which I felt she is trying to lie to us. When I asked if the class should be for 16 month, she said she need to call Geri, who confirmed that we could not enroll. Lack of Engagement – In previous classes, when my child was the only participant, she did not engage, one time inactively, the other time not at all, I think I rated negative when she did this for us the first time, the other one I did not give feedback, I will check my history and put everything together. Additionally, I had previously been in contact with Geri via text. At 9:23 AM today, I sent a message stating that I had a few questions and would like a quick call, but I did not hear back. My main concern was to clarify whether the 16-24 month class is truly for 3-year-olds, as the staff member claimed, or if it remains as listed on the website. If the official policy is that my 14-month-old cannot register, I completely understand—I just need clear and consistent information. Due to these issues, I have decided to cancel my membership and would like confirmation of the cancellation process. Additionally, for the rest of my membership, I would appreciate not being assigned to this staff member, I would like to know which period of time I can avoid this staff for the remaining classes in the future or should I reconsider returning. I am disappointed, as I initially joined Gymboree expecting a warm, inclusive environment. we had a good time and had truly enjoyed the content of the classes, we especially appreciated our time with Geri and Morgan. I hope these concerns are addressed so that other families do not have a similar experience. Thank you.

Additional instructions

Adults are required to wear socks since we do not allow shoes on the play floor. Grown ups need to stay on the property.
