Summer Camp - The Drowsy Chaperone JR (Grades 7-10)

Camp runs Monday-Friday, July 14 - July 25, from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Early drop-off is available from 7:30-8:15am; Late pick-up is available until 5:30pm. Please see the options for pricing. No previous experience is necessary. This camp is for campers that will be entering grades 7, 8, 9, and 10 in the 2025 - 2026 school year (ages 12-17). Campers who have completed grade 10 are welcome to attend. Assessments (all campers must attend) will be held on the first day of camp. There will be a performance with limited seating the weekend of July 26 / July 27 (exact time / date TBD). Each young performer will receive 6 complimentary tickets in order to invite parents, family, or friends to see their show. Tickets are not available for purchase to the general public, and no additional tickets can be requested. ABOUT THE SHOW: A man shares with the audience his favorite record - the 1928 musical The Drowsy Chaperone. As he plays the record, the show comes to life in his apartment. Mix in two lovebirds on the eve of their wedding, a bumbling best man, a desperate theatre producer, a not-so-bright hostess, gangsters posing as pastry chefs, a misguided Don Juan and a sleepy chaperone, and you have the ingredients for a show that will have everyone laughing.
