DROP OFF AND PICK UP: Drop off is between 8:25-8:40. Please note that camp starts at 8:30am. Park in the lot connected to Tucson Community School or along the curb in the neighborhood. PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK DRIVEWAYS. LATE?: Families whose children remain at camp after 12:35 pm will be charged $20 for each 10 minutes tardy. If you are going to be late PLEASE CALL if you are able so your child doesn't worry. All adults picking up children must be on their approved caregiver list. Please let a coach know if they are going home with a friend. WHAT TO WEAR/ BRING: Wear clothes and shoes good for active and MESSY play, a sun hat is REQUIRED. We will have water play every day! Please bring lots of extra clothes and a towel. Refillable water bottle SNACKS! Please pack your child a snack each day. NO NUTS. We will eat together at 10am for snack time. BIG NUTRITIOUS LUNCH. Tucson Community School is NUT FREE FACILITY. NO NUTS are permitted in snacks or lunches. No sugary drinks or soda please. Nutritious food encouraged. NO TOYS, Electronics or extra things from home. We have lots of toys and activities at camp! Children may bring a small lovie or comfort item if needed to help with the transition into camp. BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS: Our goal is to create a community of children each week. We hope that every camper leaves camp with new friends and wonderful memories. We will work with all children to be successful at Playformance camp. We often find the children who need the most support from us are the ones who benefit the most from Playformance. We have 2 principles of play at Playformance. 1) We play to have fun and 2) we take care of the people. If you have any concerns or questions about your child's experience at Playformance Camp please make arrangements to talk with a coach before drop off or after pick up. Coaches will not be available to talk during drop off or at pick up about your child's behavior or needs. Please email us at Katie@playformancetucson.com or call 520-623-3904. These are the best numbers to reach us during camp hours for urgent matters. ILLNESS POLICY: We will NOT accept children at camp who are sick. We understand that sometimes illness can keep your child out of camp. Any child showing any symptoms of illness including but not limited to fever, headache, coughing, sneezing, runny nose, or excessive tiredness, will be sent home. If in doubt of your child's wellness, please keep them home. Credits are given on a case by case basis. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES: Please check in all prescription medications and complete the medication form at drop off. Please let staff know before the first day of camp of any behavioral or medical needs your child may have, so we can best accommodate them. If your child requires a specific brand of popsicle, please bring that on the first day of camp labeled with your child’s name.
