Get ready to Defy Gravity this summer with everyone's favorite witches! Don't wait to enroll, this week is going to be POP-U-LAR! Here at Stages, we combine the magic of musical theater with the fun and freedom of summer to help campers develop the skills every performer needs to perform on a Broadway Stage! Campers will learn the foundations of musical theatre while experiencing the thrill of an intensive audition and rehearsal process. Throughout the week, they will participate in music, choreography, and blocking rehearsals, all in preparation for their final performance on the last day of camp. Don’t worry – it’s not all work and no play here at Stages! We take advantage of the fun and freedom of summer, ensuring campers have time outside each day as well as free play (and rest). They’ll also be given the chance to discover what goes on “behind the scenes” helping to create costume pieces, sets, and props that they'll use in their final performance! BEST OF ALL? Our camps are run by professional teaching artists with years of experience on professional stages as well as in the classroom so you can drop-off feeling confident that your child will be in good hands. It was a great experience overall, but Tech week being the week before Christmas was absolutely brutal for our entire family. The Tech week rehearsals were very late for school nights, our daughter was utterly exhausted with so many late nights in one week it really was not good for her physical or mental health. That said she loved doing it, and begged to sign up again.

*Mark your Calendar: Final Performance will take place on FRIDAY at 4:15pm. Children will be released to families following the performance. Final Performances will be recorded and shared for families who are unable to attend. *Stages offers a multi-week discount on camps. Each week is inspired by different Broadway musicals, so join us for one week or all ten! ***Families are responsible for providing: - A nut free lunch and 2 snacks - A water bottle. Please make sure that everything is labeled. CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to cancel your camp enrollment, our cancellation policy is as follows: -If you cancel 4 weeks before the start of camp, you may receive a full refund less a $20 processing fee or a credit for the full amount paid to your Care.com Connect account to be used for future Stages Chicago programming. -If you cancel 1-4 weeks before the start of camp, you may receive a 50% refund or a full credit to your Care.com Connect account. -If you cancel 1-7 days before the start of camp, you may receive a full credit to your Care.com Connect account that expires May 31, 2026 -After camp starts, no refunds or credits will be given. Make-up days can be arranged pending availability but are not guaranteed.
