Dreams of making bigger bowls and vases? This is your chance! This camp builds on previous throwing and hand building skills by starting on the wheel and using coiled clay to make your pots taller and more magnificent than with traditional wheel throwing techniques. *This is an intermediate level ceramics camp. Prior experience on the pottery wheel is required.

Thank you for making such a fun medium so accessible. I have wanted to learn wheel throwing for over a decade and could never afford a multi-hundred dollar class. I have fallen in love with ceramics and am so thankful to have a studio like yours to continue to experiment in. And thank you to Em for sharing her wisdom and making class such a welcoming space.

Additional instructions
Campers must bring a snack, lunch and water bottle each day. If your child needs to bring an EPI-PEN or INHALER, please place it along with a picture of your child inside a clear bag labeled clearly with your child’s name. We encourage SUN PROTECTION as well, as snack/lunch takes place outside (weather permitting) Cellphones and electronic games are not permitted for use during camp. These items must be turned off and stored in campers bags during camp hours. They may be used during extended care hours provided they are not disturbing other activities.
