Chatsworth Winter Electives Tuesdays: Paws and Claws by iCamp (Grades K-2)

***This course is ONLY for Grades K-2** In this course, young animal enthusiasts and aspiring physicians embark on a thrilling adventure into the world of veterinary medicine. Through engaging, hands-on activities, students will uncover the essential skills and knowledge needed to care for our furry friends. Students will learn about animal behavior, nutrition, health, and first aid techniques tailored specifically for pets. From examining mock patients to diagnosing common ailments and practicing basic veterinary procedures, this course offers a dynamic and immersive learning experience. Whether it's bandaging a "broken paw" or administering "pet-friendly" medications, participants will develop empathy, compassion, and practical skills essential for providing quality care to our beloved animal companions.
