Intro to Embroidery: Nautical Style - For Teens (ages 13+) & Adults

This class is perfect for the beginner! In this class you will learn the ins-and-outs of how to embroider including threading an embroidery needle, tying a knot, and all the stitches needed to complete one of 4 beautiful Nautical themed kits. Cost includes a kit and all supplies needed to complete the workshop. Pick an "extra" to choose your kit. Cancellation Policy : 24 hour notice for rescheduling. No-shows and cancelations with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded or rescheduled. Students may make up missed classes within a month of the missed class. Rescheduling should be done via email. Instructor Laura Tandeske has been embroidering for 40+ years specializing in Surface Embroidery. She studied Fine Art at California State University East Bay, and embroidery with the Embroiderers Guild of America and San Francisco School of Needlework and Design. Laura is also a biochemist with 32 years experience at Chiron/Novartis working in early stage drug discovery research for Oncology, Infectious Diseases, and Diagnostics. She brings this scientific and experimental mind to her Embroidery work.
