What your child’s day will look like
Continuation of 2nd and 3rd year kathak classes focusing on fundamental techniques of tatkar, chakkars, taal and story-telling. There are two classes per week for a total of 19 classes, including one makeup from cancelled class on 12/9 and exam day. Mondays 5:30-6:45pm Cubberley Community Center (Room H1) Wednesdays 5:30-6:45pm New Century Dance Studio (1205 W El Camino Real, Sunnyvale) Makeup Class Sunday, Jan 12th, 11:00-12:15pm Exam Day Wednesday, Jan 29th No classes on: January 20th (MLK Day) February 17-21st (Winter Break) In the event of inclement weather or other circumstances, classes may be held on zoom.

Additional instructions
Students to wear their uniform kurta with white churidaar/leggings and hair neatly tied back in a bun or braid(s). For park classes, students to wear thick socks and bring a water bottle and yoga mat. Students may make up a total of 2 missed classes per session. Make-up classes are scheduled for March 8th & 9th (time and location TBA). We reserve the right to reschedule/cancel classes in the event of illness or other commitments.
