SL Art Portfolio Development College & High School Students

Winter Semester (January-Mid March) This class is for high school and college art students. Join us for classical instruction, covering a variety of techniques and skill building, with a degreed art instructor. Students will choose their mediums and subjects for their pieces with guidance from the instructor. Portfolio development will include completed works of art as well as research regarding various schools and programs students are interested in. The main focus of this class is to create a portfolio to assist with placement in the art field, work towards scholarships, and program acceptance. Students will also be exposed to art competitions including how to enter, how to present their artwork for competition, and what types of competitions are available.
