What your child’s day will look like
Come spend the Monday mornings at JAMaROO with this fun class combo. Arrive as early at 9:30 to play in the space, take the arts and crafts class from 9:45-10:15, and do music & movement from 10:15-10:45, followed by an 15 additional minutes of free play from 10:45-11! 9:45-10:15 Art & Storytime Come enjoy Art and Storytime, and save the mess for us! Our Art classes have been created to work on fostering all 5 key areas of development in early childhood education: Cognitive, Speech and Language, Fine and Gross motor development and social emotional. In classes we'll Explore different art mediums while fostering speech and language development and exploring textures, colors and shapes! 10:15-10:45 Music & Movement Our music classes have been created to work on fostering all 5 key areas of development in early childhood education: Cognitive, Speech and Language, Fine and Gross motor development and social emotional. In classes we'll sing traditional songs and also sing original JAMaROO Kids songs created by our own team. Many songs will focus on the alphabet, building vocabulary, and basic math skills. We will begin to explore basic music theory by introducing children to fun characters such as Octave the Octopus! Each month our curriculum will change to ensure children stay excited about class and are always learning something new while providing them with enough repetition to master new skills and vocabulary. This session, we will focus on fun on the Arctic, Dinosaurs, and the Enchanted Garden! This is a 6 week session for Monday classes, and 8 week session for Tuesday-Friday classes. Session package prices are adjusted accordingly. IMPORTANT DATES No Classes Monday January 20th for Martin Luther King, Jr Day No Classes Monday February 17th for President’s Day **You Are NOT Charged for classes in the session package for the weeks we have closures.**

Jacqueline Paradine
Instructor
Jacqueline is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College with a BA in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation. She first started working with children as a summer camp counselor for a local recreation department and knew this type of work was what she wanted to do someday. Jacqueline has taught preschool in both the public and private sectors for over 12 years and has also volunteered creatively for her son and daughter’s children’s theater, school, and scout events! Jacqueline has always loved art, music, and the performing arts. As a child, she played piano, flute, and sang in mixed choir and performed in her school musicals. She is a firm believer in the importance of PLAY for all ages and enjoys exploring sensory multimedia art for fun.
Natalie Ernst
Instructor
Natalie Ernst joined JAMaROO Kids in 2013 as a full-time teacher with a degree in Child Development from CSU Chico. Her experience working with children prior to joining JAMaROO Kids spans over 10 years and includes working as a preschool teacher at a number of preschools, teaching summer camp, and teaching children’s gymnastics. Natalie has been singing and playing the guitar since she was a child. She has a background in musical theater and has been formally trained in gymnastics, which she still occasionally practices. When Natalie isn’t teaching for JAMaROO Kids, you can find her face painting for parties and events and performing with multiple theater groups and improv troupes.

Refunds We do not offer refunds. If for any reason JAMaROO Kids has to cancel the class due to an emergency - we will credit you for the class or book a makeup class. Make- ups: We are now allowing two make-ups for missed classes per session. Your make-up classes must be arranged by the office and will be limited to the classes we have space in. Make-up classes do not carry over from one session to the next. SIBLING DISCOUNT Please note that the sibling discount is reserved to siblings/children residing at the same address. It is not valid for other arrangements (i.e Nanny Shares). We also require legal guardians/parents to register their children for emergency contact and liability reasons. Please do not have nannies/caregivers register on your behalf. JAMaROO Kids Referral Program If you register for a session, you can take advantage of our Referral Program any time during the session! Bring a new friend who has never attended a JAMaROO Kids class to class with you for FREE! If they register for the session after, we will add a credit for one class to your account, to be used toward a future class or session purchase. Please note: This offer includes one Free Drop-in per child in the guest family.
