What to expect in class:
Taught by amazing Mr. Steven, who is in the Reno Wind Symphony, has a Master's Degree in Music and over 10 years experience teaching children 6 mos - 5 years! Engage your little one in a multi-age music class with songs, rhythm exploration, movement to music and instrument exploration (sanitized between each use). This class provides opportunities not only to learn musical techniques, styles, and about different instruments, but also supports social and emotional development.

Physical: Sensory exploration time is supported while children practice their motor skills, which is crucial for your child’s overall development.
Cognitive: Music play helps activate parts of the brain responsible for music and speech processing. It creates an early appreciation of music and supports language development.
Social: Through music, you can hear and feel emotions. Tunes can be happy, sad, or angry! This supports social development in understanding emotions in a new way.
Adults: You get to engage with your little one making emotional connections and strong bonds. Being involved in your child’s play helps both you feel more connected.
IF YOU ARRIVE EARLY, PLEASE WAIT IN YOUR CAR UNTIL YOUR SCHEDULED CLASS TIME so that we can clean and prepare for you!
* SOCKS needed for all walking children and adults (grippy best for children) and please make sure children wear SHORTS under dresses
* We have a NO illness policy, anyone showing signs of illness will be asked to leave (please don't put us in this position).
* Temperature checks and hand washing required upon entry
* Socks REQUIRED for adults (available for $2 if you forget, we no longer have loaners to borrow). We prefer any child walking to wear socks to help us keep Gymboree clean, if your child is unable to wear socks, please bring wipes with you to thoroughly clean their feet before entry.
* Have children wear SHORTS under any dresses please
* One parent or caregiver in the gym at a time, siblings (not being worn or in a car seat) must be enrolled in the class to attend in order to comply with capacity guidelines.
* Please wait in your car if you arrive early, this will prevent classes from overlapping and allow us to use the window between play times to make sure everything is sanitized and ready for the next class.
The gym, class room and props will be cleaned & sanitized between each class, but it's important to maintain your usual precautions to stay healthy. Stay home if you are not feeling well and/or suspect you have been in contact with anyone who has been sick.
