Fashion Studies Program - Spring 2025 Semester - Fashion Sewing for Young Designers

In this hands-on course, young designers will learn essential sewing and garment construction skills, from sketching and pattern modification to garment assembly and adjusting fit. Students will work on creating one to two finished garments of their own design and build a small portfolio of seam and hem samples. This course is ideal for those eager to transform their fashion ideas into well crafted, wearable pieces. Sewing students will also need to bring or purchase a sewing project which includes Pattern, fabric and thread. Each In-Person Sewing & Pattern Making Class size limited to 5 students. Fashion Design Classes are limited to 8 students. Cancellation Policy - Please make sure you are able to commit to the classes before you register. Cancellations with refunds will only be accepted for two weeks before classes commence in January Student may make up a missed class by attending one of our sewing classes or another "Design" Class, provided there is space. There are NO addtional pattern making classes, so direct make up classes for missed pattern making classes are NOT available. Please do not come to class if you are sick. Masks optional.
