School Readiness

A class to help preschoolers get ready for kindergarten. Using dynamic and hands-on activities, students will learn Math concepts such as one-to-one correspondence, geometry and spatial relations, measurement, and patterns. The Phonics program will help students discover and practice the connections between letters and their sounds. Also important are fine motor skill practice and other practical skills kindergarten ask for. For ages 3-6y. Expect to spend at least an hour and a half for each Playgroup: -30 minute (music is 45 minutes) structured class where fine motor skills are practiced -Playtime to encourage social interaction -Snacks/Lunch eaten together as a class (please bring your own food)
