Little Folkies Backyard Music Class LIVE w/Laura Weinbach (Fall Series, Oakland)

Little Folkies' family music class welcomes babies, toddlers and preschoolers along with their parents, grandparents and caregivers to come together every week to sing together like one big family! There is never a dull moment in this class, with the teacher leading the students through fun and engaging finger play activities, hand movements, fun lap songs, call and response singing and hands-on jamming with shakers and wooden kids instruments. The sweet, gentle and simple songs of the folk tradition have lyrics easy enough for both baby and grandma to sing along to, as well as being soothing to children and creating positive early musical memories for them. Here at Little Folkies we share the knowledge that music is at the core of every human being, and we believe that all children should experience genuine, heart felt, acoustic music making which will increase their musical confidence and give them a healthy relationship to music right from the start. Please note, Little Folkies does not offer refunds. We are, however, happy to give you credit for a future Little Folkies semester or class. Credited monies must be used within 6 months of cancellation, but can be extended if need be. Certain class times offered may be cancelled due to under-enrollment. In this case, you will be transferred to your second choice class. Refunds can not be given in this case, but credit may be issued. Please ensure that you pick a second choice class time that is different from the first. In the event of a class cancellation due to teacher illness, Little Folkies will provide a make up lesson date within that semester. If for any reason, you can not attend a class that you have already paid for, you may make up the class on a future date free of charge or you may attend a class at a different Bay Area location free of charge. You may use your make up within 3 month of the missed class date.
