Private lessons are 1-on-1 with the Instructor and give lots of personal attention. The classroom may have more than one private lesson {with another instructor} going on at the same time. Please let us know if you would like the classroom entirely to yourself.
Shelly specializes in teaching beginners the fundamentals of sewing. Please bring or purchase a project that includes pattern, fabric, trims & notions.

Private Lesson Cancellation Policy : Please give us 48 hour notice if you wish to cancel with a refund. 24 hour notice for rescheduling. No-shows and cancelations with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded or rescheduled.

Instructor Shelly Kim works as an upholstery and sewing teacher in the Bay Area. She was taught to sew clothes and quilts by her mother and grand-mother, and has enjoyed sewing for herself, family and friends through-out the years. Shelly is a thoughtful and patient instructor and has experience teaching adults as well as her own kids/teens how to sew.
