Hello Everyone My name is Michelle and I am 34 years old. I am currently working as a Community Support Worker for people with intellectual and physical disabilities and absolutely love this line of work. The lovely people I support either have Cerebal Palsy, Autism or are wheelchair bound. I’m also a mum to a 5 year girl who is on the autism spectrum and is non verbal. I understand the hard work it takes to care for someone with higher needs and always want the best for the person. I am passionate about getting people in with the community as much as possible and love to try new things and visit new places. My current position unfortunately doesn’t allow me long enough hours to really build a solid foundation with my people I support so I am looking for a family who is seeking a career for their loved one.
