Hello! I am a 26 year old looking for preferably full time work, Monday - Friday. Before moving to New Zealand, I worked for three years in California as a Direct Support Professional at Alpha Resource Center. Alpha is an adult day program for adults and young adults with a range of intellectual and physical disabilities. My job allowed me to assist my clients with eating and toileting, supervising various social and learning activities, providing transportation to social events, and ultimately supporting and creating a positive environment for social interactions to form and flourish. My skills include: great communicator, hard working, punctual, resilient, responsible, adaptable, and enthusiastic. I also have nanny experience babysitting a three year old everyday for just under a year. I developed a very good relationship with her parents, cooked her meals, put her down for her nap, assisted her in toilet training, and played and learned with her.
