Childcare in Yaldhurst

| I have been babysitting my 2 brothers since I was 14, and now live alone with my youngest brother (18). We have 3 dogs and a kitten so I am used to being hands on. I studied 6 months as an early childhood teacher in the Elim childcare centre, to then move on to uni where I currently study to become a high school teacher. I believe the role as a teacher is to accommodate everything a child needs in terms of helping them grow and being an emotional/mental mentor. I want to be there to make sure the children have support inside and outside of school they need. Someone they can trust as well as share the fun side of life with. My method to keeping a child happy is just simply listening to them. I don't believe in smacking children and believe the best way to teach a child right from wrong is by simply sitting down alone with them and explaining why their actions were bad, I also love to praise a child for good behaviour with rewards such as stickers and x amount of stickers receive a certain reward from time to time.
