I graduated from Newcastle University with a First Class Honours in English Literature in 2019. My studies at undergraduate level were greatly rewarding, and further developed the love of English which I have always had. I decided to combine my love of literature with my passion for education, and began my Secondary English PGCE in 2019. I have always loved working with children, and had previous experience babysitting a variety of age groups, as well as teaching English to the daughter of a French host family I stayed with during my gap year. My PGCE has ensured that my subject knowledge is up to date and I have a secure knowledge of GCSE and A-Level English requirements. I also have experience supporting SEN and EAL students thanks to my placements within schools.
