A tutor is someone who has a great understanding of the subject, but is also enthusiastic about teaching and thoroughly understands their students needs. As I am a Biomedical Scientist at Newcastle University in her third year, I have extensive knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I offer A-Level Biology, Chemistry and GCSE Mathematics tutoring. I also offer primary school level tutoring for Maths and Science. During sixth form I used to tutor GCSE Maths and Science to a vast number of students with a range of skills, therefore I am able to adapt myself to your specific strengths and weaknesses guiding your learning. The students I taught went on to increasing their grades by three levels by the end of the year. Furthermore, I have previously volunteered during a summer school for children 11 years and younger, so I am able to interact with children well providing a fun tutoring experiences. Alongside knowledge for the subject, communication is key so I have engaged in street fundraising a role that I have undertaken which requires a high level of communication and relies heavily on the ability to articulate thoughts clearly to a vast array of audiences.
