I am a warm, calming and friendly individual, in my final year of studying Chiropractic. I have an enhanced DBS check and I am also trained in essential first aid skills. Although I do not have any paid experience tutoring, I have good experience from being a study mentor in sixth form for year's 7 and 8 science class, and tutoring my younger sibling who is currently revising for her GCSE's. She is profoundly deaf, with ASD and anxiety, which has given me extensive experience in catering my communication skills to specific needs. I understand that academia can oftentimes be overstimulating and overwhelming for students inside and/or outside the classroom which can lead to distraction and lack of self-confidence in their abilities to study. I decided to uptake tutoring with the aim to use my love for learning and academia to create a comfortable space for students to learn, be inquisitive, and ask questions, while aiming to teach study independence outside of our tutoring sessions so that students can continue to implement new study techniques even after out sessions are finished.
