After tutoring in London for 4 years I have moved to Newcastle to continue my studies. I tutored a large number of students from primary school age to GCSE students. I make an effort to understand a student’s needs so I can decide the best way to help them with their studies. This approach helped me to teach two pupils with severe ADHD because I worked with them to come up with systems to keep them engaged. The mother of one of these students said I did an excellent job to make sure he enjoyed our sessions and made it feel less like a chore. Another client said ‘I really did not enjoy maths GCSE before I started with Joey, after just a couple months of lessons math has become my favourite subject, and I am now working towards doing it for A level.’ I graduated with a 2:1 in computer science. I am always punctual and I am happy for my clients to message me with any questions they have during the week.
