I feel I would be a great candidate for the role as I am passionate about supporting and caring for indidiuvals to empower them and add to their quality of life. I enjoy caring for people especially children. I worked in a tuition centre for two years helping young children ages 4-11 develop basic maths and English skills, closely working with a boy with autism. I completed a placement of 100 hours in a nursery, which I really enjoyed. The experience of my family being a foster family have shown me the benefits and challenges of working with children. My parents have fostered many children; I have seen how beneficial it is for children to have a stable, caring environment yet I fully appreciate that it is very difficult for children to be separated from their parents. At the moment I am studying a BA is social work. I feel like this job will allow me to gain more experience directly working with service users and looking at the benefits and challenges of working with vulnerable service users. When I have finished my degree I am also very interested in working closely with children with difference needs. I am a caring compassionate person who enjoys working with people and I am confident that I have the resilient nature for the role.
