Hi I have been a special needs teaching assistant for the past year and previous to that worked in adult social care as a support worker for a year. I have experience of giving medication, I am moving and handling trained, Team Teach trained, Magnet trained, Peg and continuous feed trained. I am currently looking for work as my partner and I were traveling to Nepal to teach, obviously due to the current situation this is no longer happening and will not be for the foreseeable future. I am an upbeat person who really enjoys the care aspect of my job. I have worked a lot with students with very complex and behavioural needs. Previous to this I studied an undergraduate degree in Psychology and then a Masters in Education and Psychology. I have a passion for travel and learning new skills.
