As a child l had to care for my gran when she had a stroke. I couldn't do much as l was young but l was getting better as l was growing. I would remind her to take her meds. Assist with dressing and other house chores. I remember when l was 9yrs when she said to me you will be a good nurse one day. This was in Zimbabwe/ Africa. I moved to the UK in 2001 at the age of 16. Circumstances had stopped me from following my dreams of becoming a nurse. I have had over 8 years of experience in the care sector, working as a HCA/ care assistant and live in carer and other non care related jobs. I'm passionate about caring as it is something that's natural to me. There is no hard job with me. I always aim to give it my all before giving up.
