I have been caring since I was 14 years old. This started off with caring for my grandad who had Huntington’s disease. I cared for him from when he was just starting to loose his independence up until the end of his life providing him with repositions, personal care, mouth care etc. I have experience in end of life care within a nursing home environment again this included repositions, personal care, hoisting, mouth care, companionship etc. I have experience within elderly care, learning disabilities, mental health, childcare and experience as a care coordinator. My passion has always been caring. It’s all I’ve ever known. However, I feel I want to make big changes to peoples life’s and the care they receive and sometimes that isn’t feasible when working in care homes with its pressures. I will do anything and everything I can for my client to help maintain the best quality life.
