I’m a 45 year old with experience supporting a lady in the community through Sutton Befrienders which I joined in 2023. My role initially was to take the lady to Bingo but noticing that her garden was unkempt, I took the initiative to clear it and keep it tidy to present. I also redecorated her kitchen and regularly drive the lady to local parks since she loves nature so much and has limited mobility. Usually we stop in a café to play card games which she really loves, sometimes we stay at her place creating art and I also help her with tidying. I thoroughly enjoy the role as a volunteer and feel confident to do so at a professional level. I am sensible, reliable, hard working and responsible. The service I have to offer is multifaceted, compassionate and dedicated.
