I have over 30 years experience looking after the elderly , I have worked in care homes, community care , Forensic which is people detained under the mental health act, I understand and have worked in a EMI unit for patients with dementia. I trained in occupational Therapy and did work GWH for the department assessing patients for discharge planning and identify equipment and care needs and work with many professionals . I have a HeaIth and social care Btec diploma, a degree in health care studies related to Occupational therapy, I can give or prompt meds, help , assist or prompt with activities of daily living such as personal care and meals ,shopping , appointment, befriending, advocacy social events , cleaning, dog walking or feeding. I can sign post when clients whom have difficulties, I understand the impact of health problems on daily living. I can provide work and character references if required , I have an DBS.
