I am currently working as a care assistant for adults suffering with dementia and a variety of other mental health conditions. From this, I have developed experience in providing a high level of care and support to a variety of individuals. Many of our residents are unable to complete basic tasks, including personal care, so I have become extremely confident and comfortable with all aspects of the role. I am friendly and approachable and am able to confidently interact and engage with everyone I care for. I also have experience babysitting for family and friends and enjoy spending time with the children. I feel I would be able to bring these skills forward into a nanny/babysitter role, and would be a perfect candidate.
