I worked in a nursery called Tettenhall Tots for a year where I achieved my level 2 in childcare. I was based in the 0-2 year old room and had my own key children to take care of and help their development. I changed nappies, put the children to bed as well as playing different games, reading to them and singing and dancing as well. I also helped with the cleaning around the nursery as well. I had a good relationship with all of the parents and even helped out in the older children’s rooms as well. I have also help toilet train some of the children and helped them to learn their phonics and some maths as well. As well as this I also worked in 2 other nursery’s where I was placed in the preschool room where I had conversations with all the children and got to know them all as well. However I only worked in both of these nurseries for a month as I realised I didn’t want to work in a nursery and wanted to be a nanny so I could get to know the children more.
