I started working with young people when I was 17 undertaking an Events Assistant Apprenticeship where I worked on an holiday/half term and after school club programme which was open to 6-21 year olds, so quite a mix. I booked in the activities and supervised/ catered to the needs of the children on the course. My next experience was when I started working in a private nursery, completing an Early Years Educator qualification last October. I was based in the baby room so I am highly confident looking after 3 - 22 months old children. I also worked with toddlers and preschool who I love working with also. I am confident in following the EYFS standard, creating activities for the children to be stimulated and engaged. I am confident in performing personal care and meeting needs and sticking to routines. I like to think I inject fun into the lives of the children I work with coinciding with an educational side.
