Hiya, I'm Lauren Hardacre. A few years ago I spent the year living abroad in France with a french family therefore I have gained a lot of experience with children of varying ages. I have had experience with children as young as 6 months. Working abroad has allowed me to gain understanding of children's needs and how each child is different. Before moving to France I had several babysitting jobs in the UK so have experience with English children to. I like to take the fun approach with children, ensuring that they look forward to spending time with me. This might be by organising a treasure hunt or playing in the garden if the weather is nice. However, I feel that it is vital that the children respect me and therefore there must be a balance between the two. I've just finished University so I am looking for a role over the summer.
