I am a conscientious second year student, currently studying English with Publishing at Plymouth University and seeking a child career position to complement my schedule. I have experience working at an after-school club where i was responsible for children ages 5-11. During my time working here i completed a child protection and safeguarding course. i believe this is something many child carers cant say they have experienced and will give me the knowledge to provide a safe and understanding atmosphere. I was also responsible for setting up the food area with a healthy snack and was often tasked with collecting the infants and walking them to the juniors. A day to day at the club would also include a range of activities or work help. My time spent at the after school club has greatly benefited me and will be an advantage to anyone i work for because i have gained a wide variety of skills which will help on the job and i am extremely approachable, the children i worked with felt comfortable around me and enjoyed taking part in game and activities with me.
