I am DBS checked and have been a domcillary carer for two and a half years. Although this was mainly with adults, I also have experience with learning disabilities and children as some adults, I have worked with, had children of there own. I have work experience in primary schools from ages 4-11, and have also participated in coaching after school events for children. My current job is working with SEN young people and adapting their needs around education and incorporating life skills. With my university degree i have had the opportunity to attend placements where i have worked regularly with children of all ages. I’d like to gain some more experience with children to support me in the career path I want to follow. I have previously supported one family with three children on weeknights and the odd weekend evening when needed. I am happy to do any light chores, as well as helping with homework, educated fun and food making.
