My name is Helen, but I'm known as Jade by everyone. I am a keen reader and love to watch films and listen to music. I've always enjoyed working with children and taking an interest in their development. I have a BA in Childhood Studies at grade 2:2, which I achieved in 2013. I have experience with babysitting children under the age of 8 but am willing to look after older children too. This babysitting job I held for 4 years before I started university in Aberystwyth. Also during my university years, I had to do placements in nurseries that I really enjoyed, and had to supervise children playing and see how they learn. I now live in Newtown, Powys and am working in community care with the elderly. In my spare time I'm working towards a Child Psychology Diploma, and after that I will be continuing on to study a Special Educational Needs Diploma. I also have a number of other certificates in childhood based courses.
