I use to be a carer for my younger sister who is on the autism spectrum, and volunteered within her school frequently when she was younger. In this I have gained much experience with all different kinds of children, and have gained qualities such as patience and understanding, which I believe is very important for everyone. Understanding children’s behaviours and their responses to certain things is important in making sure they are happy and feel safe and comfortable.
