| My name is Laken and in September I will be entering my fourth year at Trent University in the Queen's-Trent Concurrent Education program, majoring in french studies. I am an aspiring French Immersion teacher. I am patient, energetic, and passionate about working with kids. I have lots of experience working with children aged 3 months to 16 years. This experience has ranged from tutoring, university placements in elementary schools, summer programs with ESL students (from France, Spain, China, and Japan), babysitting, and summer camps. I studied abroad in Nantes, France this year and also had the opportunity to do a volunteer placement in an English class for French students. I have my DELF B1 certificate and just spent a year abroad in Nantes, France where I completed my third year of university studies. I have been tutoring for the past four years and have a passion for both teaching and the french language.
