| I recently obtained my M.Sc. in genetic counseling. I have two years of experience as a tutor for undergraduate students. I supported students, one-on-one, in many subjects, such as, biology, public health, algebra, forensic science, and nutrition. I was also a laboratory teaching assistant for biology undergraduate classes. I helped students develop key laboratory skills while encouraging their growth in knowledge for many biology topics. These positions have strengthened my organization and communication skills by helping students understand new, complicated course material. Through both roles, I have had the opportunity to foster my students’ growth and development towards their educational goals.
