| Hi! I’m Emma. I am 23 years old and I am currently in my 4th year of university and graduating in April with a degree in English. I have worked with kids since I was 12, whether it be coaching, babysitting, or tutoring. I have worked as a tutor for 2+ years, and I absolutely adore them!

| I am interested in tutoring any subject K-12 in the Brantford area. I am in my second year at McMaster university and living in Brantford, I have completed my B2 level DELF (international standards for French), advanced math and science courses throughout high school, and have plenty of experience with teaching kids. | I have just finished my first year of Teacher's College at university and am entering into my second year in September. I also have degrees in Youth and Children's Studies, Psychology, and Contemporary Studies. I worked for 2 years as an educational assistant to students with many different strengths and needs. I have taught students one-on-one, in small groups, and as a class. I absolutely love teaching and strive to provide an environment that fosters excitement and passion for learning! I have a great deal of handmade and purchased resources that I have used to teach students of all different ages and abilities, as well as access to all curriculum documents and associated resources.

My tutoring approach is to find where a student is struggling and address that issue rather than re-teaching a totally new method.
