As an experienced and enthusiastic direct support professional, I have a keen understanding of the importance of the Vulnerable Persons Act by engaging in its principles everyday.
Through my experience being a direct support professional, I have gained strong skills in caring for people with intellectual disabilities, promoting life skills and supporting participants in their daily routines. Just as important, I have gained the skills to help facilitate community engagement with the individuals who I support.
My capacity to problem solve as well as care for others has been a strong suit that compliments my passion for this line of work.
