Respite Caregiver
|
I turn 63 on Oct 2018 & thus can relay to old people, their interests, values & generation morals. I stand 5'5", 175 lbs & am able bodied. I am married, have a residence in Glenevis & have 4 dogs. My house is a small 1-floor unit but no ramp as yet to get to the door, should respite services be required or appreciated at my home. I also have a reliable car. Last year I took on-line courses about Dementia believing that such knowkedge will equip me more in dealing with senior citizens.
I am currently available. But without as yet a permanent source of income in Glenevis, I accepted ladt week a seasonal employment with H&R Block where for the last 11 yrs., i did tax returns (Feb-April) and taught tax courses (Sept-Dec) in Edmonton. I will be in Glenevis & be available Firday to Monday from mid Sept to Xmas. During the tax season of Feb-April, I work as many hours as I am allowed. Should I get a more permanent source of income, albeit part time but all year round here in the county, I need not go back to H&R.
For more questions, please contact me. Hopefully we can come with an agreement so that soon enough, your beloved family member can have the respite care and you can have your needed break.
