Special Needs Care in Gananoque

| I am a university student looking for a job to help pay for my tuition. Very flexible with hours. Experience as a respite aide and behavioral aide for children with disabilities, help teach children how to do daily routines and basic life skills i.e.: hygiene, dressing, guidance with chores, entertaining and transportation, taking children to and from activities. I have volunteered with between friends for multiple activities as well as Notre dame's adapted basketball team. My 15 year old brother is high on the autism spectrum with down syndrome with extreme cognitive delays. I have been his personal aide for majority of his lifetime.

| Have worked full time for the past 28years in group homes for adults and children with dual diagnosis paired with a developmental delay. I have been so blessed working amongst this clientele over the years. They have taught me so much and continue to daily. I have worked with individuals who are non ambulatory and more physical challenges such as g tube or J tubes for feedings. I have yearly training through ongwanada with medication administration and added skills such as ventolin and epi pens as well as cpr and first aid. Ive also working with ambulatory clientele with sometimes more behavioral and emotional issues.
